This Privacy Policy applies to the Dailything mobile application ("the App") developed by I.

Dailything is an offline-first personal diary application that allows you to record diary entries with location context. This policy is intended to inform you about our practices regarding the handling of your information.

1. Information We Access and How We Use It

A. Location Data (Optional)

• What we access: When you grant permission, the App can access your device's geographical location.
• How we use it: Location data is used exclusively to tag your diary entries with the place where they were written. This feature is entirely optional - you can use the App without granting location permission.
• How it's stored: Location coordinates are saved locally on your device as part of your diary entry. They are never transmitted to any server or external service.
• Your control: You can enable or disable location access at any time through your device's Settings. You can also manually remove location tags from individual diary entries within the App.

B. Diary Content

• What we access: Text, photos, and any media you create within the App.
• How it's stored: All content is stored exclusively on your device. It is never automatically transmitted or synced to any cloud service.
• Local processing: Any processing of your content (such as attaching location data or organizing entries) happens entirely on your device.

2. Data Collection and Transmission

A. What We Do NOT Collect

The App does not collect, transmit, or store:

• Your diary content on any external server
• Your personal identifiers (email, name, etc.)
• Device analytics or usage statistics
• IP addresses or unique device identifiers
• Any data for advertising or marketing purposes

B. Local-Only Storage

All your data remains on your device unless you explicitly choose to:

1. Export entries using your device's share functions
2. Create manual backups through your device's file system
3. Use third-party cloud services (like iCloud or Google Drive) that you manually configure

3. No Third-Party Sharing

Since your data never leaves your device without your explicit action, we do not share any information with third parties. Any data you choose to export is handled by your device's operating system and subject to the privacy policies of the services you choose to use.

You have complete control over your data:

• Delete data: Uninstall the App to remove all local data
• Manage permissions: Enable/disable location access via device Settings
• Edit entries: Remove location tags from any diary entry
• Export data: Use device sharing functions to export your entries

6. Children's Privacy

The App is designed to be safe for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). Since all data remains on the device, parental supervision of device permissions is recommended.

7. Changes to This Policy

I may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the App's features. The most current version will always be available within the App's settings and at the link provided in the App Store. Changes will be noted with an updated "Last Updated" date.
